Certainly a replacement 1st round - More picks but cannot defer until the year after - maybe quality veteran with the trading team wearing most of salary ala Bortles deal ?

hell even trading back multiple times until you arent even picking in the first round. look deep and throw everything at the wall till something sticks. gotta remember guys like Davante Adams are around in the 2nd round. and the team is building now anyway. better to develop many pieces that to gamble on one

I love that idea! We already have our franchise QB (please god, let it be true) in Lawrence and now the we gotta build young, star talent around him and we gotta have a coaching staff that actually knows how to build and develop players. And actually have an identity.
Now, next step, how do we vote Uche to be the HC?

100% agree...they have holes everywhere....I also think they should trade Trevor now while he still has value for additional picks....draft studs on the defensive and offensive line for the next two or three years and then draft your franchise quarterback....by the way, love your channel...

Problem is a team could be happy with either of the top 2 DL, and it’s cheaper to trade up to #2 with the Lions, who would gladly go for more picks with that roster they keep fielding of practice squad rejects.

Always a good idea learning from your rivals. The Titans had the top pick in 2015, they traded it to the Rams for a Draft haul that included Jack Conklin, Corey Davis and Derrick Henry. They've been a playoff fixture for a couple years now because they prioritized having a good team than great players. However, you're right about the environments in coaching and the FO needing to improve before the draft.
