This honestly makes sense, because some YouTubers like that one YouTuber named âFredâ was once a famous YouTuber and now since he moved on from that channel, he just does different content out of the behold. As MatPat said in one of his theory videos (before his "retirement" bit) while YouTube may end up incentivising shorts and shorts creators over long-form content, eventually it'll lead to the loss of creator identity. People won't know/ care who makes the content they watch, they'll just consume content. The "You" in "YouTube" will vanish as creators become entirely replaceable...
