There was an episode of "Raven's Home" in which Raven and her friend rattled off all the phone numbers of people. My kids were shocked but I proceeded to rattle off all my old home numbers. It's my only skill.

My sisters and I would memorise everyone's numbers. It was likes a competition between us, whoever could memorise then first was the best. 😂

Lol what makes it harder imo is how many different combos there are of the 3 numbers after an area code now. There was a template for the majority of your contacts in your area.

My mum has had the same mobile phone number since at least 2002. She always answers phone calls partially cuz she hates texts. Plus she’d probably be offended if I was in jail and she wasn’t the first person to find about out the situation. She was a Vietnam war protestor so her frustration with me would really be dependent on why I was there.
This short has made me realise that I need to learn more my partners phone number AND my mama is plan a if I’m imprisoned.

I now only know my number, my mom, & my sisters. My sister has had the same number for 15+ years now. I had to learn my mom’s new number. But when my dad got a new number I still haven’t learned it!! I don’t know any of my friends numbers either! But I still remember our old landline number that hasn’t been used in 5+ years & my moms old cell number lol
