Allen didnt just "Take Hits", Anissa did the exact same hits that finished Mark and he didn't take damage.

I think mark was stronger than Allen before Allen got his boost. Although Allen didn’t try to fight the viltrumites, he still got his eyeball punched out by Thula and got his guts punched out easily. It was also stated at that point that he couldn’t match the power of any viltrumite. Mark on the other hand actually held his own and almost beat Thula and it makes sense since he’s a viltrumite. So I definitely think mark was significantly stronger than Allen before Allen got his power boost.

Idk, I feel the power scaling is inconsistent. Guardian of the globe sent Omniman into coma even though he later straight up tank a train and blitzed the flaxxan, Doc Seismic didn't get obliterated by his own power even though he's just a regular human, etc.
The power development is good though, really shows the growth of the characters.

In season 1 Omniman destroyed the flaxan's planet and their people efortlessly literally flying through the planet's core and such. In some other episode he can't simply beat a random eldritch Cthulhu tentacle monster

Yeah but a thing about the powerscaling in this show is that beating an opponent doesnt mean that you can beat them again nor does it mean they can win easily. We arent talking about saiyans here. In the fights to come keep that in mind.
