Finally starting to pick up flowers for home. I don't think this 1st one was a hit though.

1. It's not getting enough time because it has been foggy and rainy for the last week and a half.
2. I'm wondering if the soil is too damp?
3. Was this flower just the ugly sister of the bunch?

Any tips would be helpful :)

That one definitely got stressed out somehow, maybe over-watering.. but the helpful tip I have for you is that annual plants do only live through one season of flowering, then they die. If you want flowering plants that come back year after year, you want to look for perennials. Don't be sad to toss dead plants and get more, though - it's all a part of the learning process! 🌿

Annual flowers dont come back every year - perennials do. If it is a true annual it may be on its way out; honestly i think this poor guy may be too far gone at this point.

I would let it dry out a little bit and only water when the soil is really dry, and make sure it's getting good light.
