The reason why the Nas album didnāt work was because kanye wasnāt putting his focus on him he was working on a bunch of albums at the same timeā¦the pusha albumā¦the kids see ghosts kid cudi collab album etc while hit boy really took the time to craft a project with him they had good chemistry so they ended up working on 6 albums together in totalā¦it worked because hit boy really crafted the beats for Nas not keeping him in his confort zone but also not just giving him a bunch of random b-sides he had laying around eitherā¦Nas didnāt sound motivatedā¦he sounded bored on that albumā¦Nas every couple years needs to work with someone completely different to keep him engagedā¦after the 90ās salaam remi put the battery in his back againā¦.after a while Nas got bored of that sound which is why we got uninspired albums in the mid to late 2000ās then hit boy ignited his love for hip hop again because he brought him something newā¦..the kanye collabs felt like kanye trying to make salaam remi type beats mixed with a bunch of random b-sides he had laying aroundā¦.so Nas sounded bored as fuck on that album

Hereās c towns biggest problem when rating rappers. For Scarface, an old head rapper that myke likes, he says āheās not very versatileā yet gives him a 7 for versatility. Yet Iāve seen him say the exact same thing āheās not the most versatileā when talking about a new school rapper and what does he give? 4 for versatility. So old head rapper not too versatile? 7. New school rapper whoās not too versatile? 4. Get over yourself myke. Your opinions are wack and your friends have kept you successful cause if this show was just myke c town the hip hop showā¦it wouldāve never gotten off the ground.
