Erm we figured out how eye balls evolved over time. Just because something today is a complex structure doesnât mean that it couldnât be simplified. The first eyes were just cells that could detect the presence of light. Some animals today still have those same cells. The problem isnât that schools donât allow people to question things, but they failed to actually educate people on the subject they teach so we donât get people asking dumb questions. That are out dated and do not serve us any meaningful discussion.

I mean, no one has forbidden it to do research but the reason its not challenged in school is the same as with the flat earth theory , unless in that one specific case where you outright deni the legitimacy of all recorded science, its already proven and factual.
And if we go for that one specific case, we can challenge everything from 1+1=2 all the way to did the HC really happen.

Why would a state challenge one of the best supported scientific theories? Where in the scientific method does "being challenged by random US states" fit in? How would random US states challenge a theory improve the scientific method?

Things change overtime to suite their environment that's called an adaptation when I brought up that adaptation and evolution were basically the same thing as both need to change to suite their environment I was dismissed.

OK, by all means, test that theory. We've seen it in action when different species change in the same way over decades because of the environment they both live in. And something that doesn't make sense to you can still work in nature. For instance, why are we a bipedal species?

Okay, I think you answered your own question. We don't want to teach faith-based stuff because it's faith-based and you can't prove it at least with theory of evolution. There's some scientific process and observation. Sure you can't prove it, but it's more than just. Here's a story from a book thousands of years ago. Believe it absolutely and don't question it

Theories should always be challenged. I was taught evolution as a fact in public school. I didn't know it was a theory until I sat down and studied it myself.

The reason people dont get to challenge it is because science is the new faith. A faith that a large portion of society accepts blindly, while they criticize any faith that is not their own.
