I deleted my app & never responded to the massive offers to tempt me to use uber eats. It actually spurred me to stop using delivery take out as walking to the restaurant was slightly less time-consuming than actually cooking. It was the way that whatever they charged was so difficult to get corrected eg drivers cancelling rides but the booking fee remaining. When I tried my local minicab office they'd cut their prices to compete and no money was paid if I wasn't happy. Only ever had to withhold payment once for a driver claim to be 5 minutes away for 15 minutes who then decided I owed him a minimum charge when I cancelled to take the bus as I was going to be late either way. Same HR lateness entry whether 5 minutes of 30. I owed him the charge as he was "just around the corner" like I still cared where he was 😂😂
