My headcanon/teory (although It could be canon) is that Sonic 06 happends before Sonic Rush, that Blaze comes from the future, but when she sealed Iblis in her soul, the exact moment she disappears, she unknowingly creates the Sol Dimension, alongside the Sol Esmeralds, and gets to reincarnate, you can even see that moments after absorbing Iblis, Blaze gains colors similar to those of Burning Blaze.
As to why nobody remembers her, ignoring the fact that Blaze barely interacted with Sonic and the gang in 06, the timeline resets after 06 story, but Blaze isn't part of the story anymore because she's now from another dimension

There is a lot of debate about when Sonic Rush takes place, but until they give a good answer for why no one recognized blaze and vice versa. Iām going to assume Sonic 06 takes place before Sonic Rush.

Hereās what I think actually happened: so blaze sacrificed herself and trapped iblis inside of her soul because she had a āroyal soulā to what Iāve read, with her sacrifice she was sent away into another dimension along iblis still trapped inside of her and maintained by a similar power of the chaos emeralds the sol emeralds which transformed it into fire powers which she use, with the transfer of dimensions and timeline she probably gotten amnesia or it was caused by the sol emeralds, with her being princess is probably because she has a royal soul.

Ian Flynn recently said in a podcast that Rush happens before 06. He said that at the end of Silverās campaign, she turns into Burning Blaze and goes back to her dimension. Blaze had amnesia which is why she did not remember Sonic. He also said that the Blaze we see after 06 still has Iblis sealed within her.

I've never forgotten about Blaze, ever since getting and completing sonic forces on release day I've noticed and wonder why blaze wasn't in that game for a mainline sonic game it IA I guess, her and silver need a new game about them two only like sonic rush with sonic and blaze but for just silver and blaze

rush came before 06 but in the timeline or something or not cuz the game retconned itself at the end 06 comes and i think when blaze technically dies or dissapears she goes to the alternate dimension and then everyone forgot

I feel like the Sol Emeralds have some kind of role to play in it, it's possible that the Emeralds altered their moments until it was the right time for Sonic and company to meet Blaze and her companions withouth really having too much in their way.
For example, in the IDW comics, the Sol Emeralds brought back Sonic's memories when he crash-landed in Blaze's dimension after using the Warp Topaz to get rid of the Metal Virus. With that being said, I theorize that the Sol Emeralds changed things up a bit along with the Chaos Emeralds since the two sets are relatable.

From what I understand no one who worked on 06 played rush thus didn't bother with her canon back story which does explain why her being in 06 is only referenced when she's interacting with Silver even if it's a just we work well together for reason.

The best explanation would just simply have been that rush could've taken place AFTER 06 time wise, since the events of 06 were erased in the games ending yet Blaze still got sent to another dimension

No, blaze does seem to recognize sonic when mephilis shows him to them at the beginning. The bigger question is how did blaze get to silver's timeline in the first place?

If i remeber well that Blaze come form the Silver's Future, my theory is that in a intend of self preservation, the Iblis create her dimensions, and by Blaze influence she not only was revived there, but she drag Eggman Nega too said dimensions, rewriting both of them as counterpart of Sonic/Knuckles and Eggman repectivelly.
The Iblis remnant power mixed with chaos energy become The Sol emerald, and for it they tend to work like a bridge between the 2 dimensions, and react to any danger Sonic's world.
For it Silver and Blaze feel a odd familiarity toward each other, inclusive other characters have been pointed out it. Like Sonic in IDW, he and Blaze were making turism, for the reconstructed Spadonia and meet Silver in his Graden, were Sonic said out loud, and proced to say bye and left them to catch up.
A detail developers affirmed that Iblis is gonna but Mephilis can return at being a atemporal being(its like a spot in the timeline that its ever jumping on it).

I always thought it was cause 06 was supposed to be a soft reboot, so they shifted some things around (blaze being from the future, shadow working for gun, etc)

Its because rush is technically after 06 and after 06 when they extinguished the flames of disaster. it reset their timelines without solaris in exsistance and with blaze continuing to be trapped in a separate dimension, causing none of the events of 06 to happen.

The only person who even came across her was Sonic. It's not that no one recognizes her, it's that NO one else ran into her.
I see a lot of answers saying 06 happens before Rush and thats genuinely impossible as Blaze reacts to hearing "Blue hedgehog" in 06, because she knows a blue hedgehog from Rush which came first.
The simple answer is that Blaze being in 06 makes no sense. You're free to see Silver's ending however you want, but in my opinion Blaze dies in Silver's ending. She cant have been sealed into another dimension because Chaos Control was required to do that and Silver specifically chooses NOT to use Chaos Control; he can't bring himself to do it. During the "End of the World" part of the game, EVERYONE is dragged into the same space, except Blaze for obvious reasonsāshe isnt there because she's likely dead. 06 is canon, but Blaze being there really shouldn't be because, again, it makes no sense.

This isn't as confusing as you may think. Sonic Rush came out before Sonic 06, but chronollogically, 06 goes first. When Blaze dissapears, she ends up in another dimension and that's why Silver and Blaze don't remember each other in the future after 06 ends, but they still have their special conexion
