That's also my reason why I left church.
After few years (studying history of Catholicism and Protestants), I arrived to a conclusion that human invent religion (all religions). And I wouldn't believe 100% in what human created. So I left religion completely.

As a follower of Jesus of Nazareth it makes me sad that she clearly was taught that Christians are "good" and above other people. We are not, we fail like everyone else, and it's through that failure that we can see we can't do it on our own. She gave up on Jesus instead of seeing that He is God in the flesh, come here to die as a sacrifice to redeem us of our failures, and that through placing our faith in him we can be saved from the separation from God that we deserve.

Sad that everyone sees a christian like a holy saint that's perfect when in reality like what she said we're just the same human being that sins. It's not written that everyone who'll follow him will not sin or be perfect but it's more of a test of faith if you rlly can be with him while also the devil tryna break your faith and own you

We belive in Christ not to fell better than other people, but because we're sure we are not. Christ came to point out our sins and mistakes and show that we're fallen creatures, and depend on him 100%. But there are Christ fans around there who claims to be superior. Probably that's what makes people get away from God. My humble advice is: try to have an intimancy directly with him, instead of depositate your faith in humans. Read your bible, pray, talk to him and try to be better. People will always let you down. (And try not let people down too 😅. Otherwise that'll be a bad testimony of your faith

Attended church in my young days, now am absolutely convinced that all religions are cults. Not my thing, I respect those that believe so they should respect those that do not.

Religion isn't a bad thing itself, it is what we do with it that can be bad, there is a reason why Jesus said that only those who have Faith in him Ill be saved. It is not because i'm Christian but thanks to my faith. It is easy to be hypocrite but it demands a heart to walk truly in Jesus. Hope this will help you🙏

宗教に熱心な人々が何をなしてきたのか…現在の地球上の出来事を眺め、過去の歴史の本を読むとその本質がわかる。宗教はいい加減に半分程度信じるのがよいというのが多くの日本人の立場。
