🤣🤣 They wouldn’t fire you for a minor ticket like that. Unless you’re in healthcare or a legal field, most employers don’t care about tickets only felony convictions. If I had to turn away every potential new hire that had tickets I’d never be able hire just about anyone lol ❤ a recruiter/hr professional. Edit: spelling, my dyslexia strikes agai

So you get your favorite charity to print off some official looking tickets and mail them to you. You show them to the wife/employer. You feel like a winner writing that check. Win win

I got a story from Arkansas, hence i have multiple fishing and hunting disbaled veteran lifetime license from different states. I got a ticket for not tagging 2 deer i shot in the same sit and being i dont get paper tags, its all digital. WITH MY CANE, i drag the doe and buck to an area where i can get my truck to load the 2 deer. So i eventually got the 2 deer into the bed of my truck with ratchet straps and leverage. I get back to camp and theres 2 wardens there, and one was an older and one was a rookie (you can tell the differnce). So i get out my truck, i have blood on me from the deer, but i didnt dress them, incase my buddies wanted to hunt my area since they had not seen or got anything in a couple days (we camped for 9 days and it was day 5). Someone says I see blood he must of got one, and the rookie says, unless he cut himself. I told them, no i got 2, a buck and a doe, and the rookie looks at and starts bee lining towards me, looking over my stand i threw on the ground and the gun i laid against my truck. I guess before this, he proceeded to go to our hanging tree and kick the leaves clear to look for blood, and search through pur coolers 😂. I opened the bed cover, gave him my info cards , and then he proceeds to call over the older warden. I asked is there a problem, with no reply. So i went and took my harness and stuff off and laid my cane down. The older warden then proceeded to ask if i tagged the deer yet, i said (i didnt lie and hadnt try to steer them wrong the whole time) i didnt log it into the site because we dont have service here (which is honest). They conversed for a while, kept asking about my stand and touching my hunting stuff. Anyways, they tool my ID went to their truck amd wrote me a ticket foe not tagging a deer before moving it. If you ask other game wardens, and look in the regulations, the wording is very speculative and opinionated. Theres more to it than what i typed, from the rookie tapping the older warden and then pointing to his body cam (dead serious), to the older warden talking about not showing up to court, as if he was hinting to show up and fight the ticket rather than just paying it. (Sorry y'all for the length.

They absolutely can NOT fire you for being unavailable to work due to court.. absolutely 100% illegal..the only thing is about notifying work in advance..a lot of states do not require a minimum amount of how long out before you need to notify your employer - most just state "in advance" and some of the states that actually DO go into further detail still just require that as long as it is not the same calendar day.. doesn't even need to be 24 hours..work closes at 5 p.m. on a Monday?? Let them know at 4:55 p.m. - just always remember to make sure(not just in this extremely specific situation but EVERY correspondence with your employer should also be in an e-mail or anything that allows for you to prove that you logged when it took place and over what)
But yeah..court 9 a.m. on Tuesday morning?? Let them know at 4:55 p.m. on Monday before they close at 5 p.m.

My old boss had to go to North Dakota for a trespassing fine years back. Asked if he could do a video court session because we’re in Wisconsin and they made it a Mandatory appearance. 😂 fool had to drive 14 hours each way for a 15 minute court dat
