I was wondering how they did that because he wasn't on stage and then suddenly he was. My only guess was that he ran, but that's risky, plus he might be out of breath. (Although, being Josh Groban, probably not.) This is a much smarter way to do it.
I saw the show last month from the second row and it was SO foggy. Not in a bad way, the ambiance was great, but I tried to take a video of the stage before the show started to capture how creepy it was, and you can't see anything. Just fog. LOL

The way the camera was coming down the aisle made it obvious the Tonys were attempting to hide Josh Groban was on the stage. Him laying down on his back, also explains why the sound of his mic was all messed up.

That camera being flown by a drone though 😮 - wonder if that is noisy for the audience. I know they can edit the audit later on, but this is so interesting to see technology advancing

No the weirdest thing are the accents. American actors can not sing in British accents so why do they try. It doesn't help that lyrics sometimes sound like a bad parody of Dickens. Probably why although critical acclaimed and it has it devoted fans the show has never been a major box office smash in the UK outside of limited runs
