I used to enjoy all their music but as my taste evolved i only enjoy a handful of their songs. I would say that they are definitely a group that is made to be experienced live. The energy from them and the fans is insane and you get carried away despite the not so great music.

I absolutely love AJR and seen them twice live. Give them a listen, back to their older stuff like Neotheatre or The Click. I think their production and songwriting is really good and they're very relatable

Turning out from Neotheatre (and Neotheatre the album in general) are amazing! You should definitely have a look to more of their songs, this one is not a good beginning hahah however they really are something else, they have very particular and kinda fresh vibes (in my opinion) x

I would Love a vid of you tearing them down as best you can. I really like AJR, but I've seen many musicians roll their eyes at the mere mention of the band's name and I just don't know why that is. If there's anyone I could hope could help explain what makes AJR so easy to dislike, that'd probably be you. Please do. Pleeease.
