Vegetable Rice (Desi Style) recipe:

Ingredients
1. _Rice_:
1. 300g basmati rice
2. _Vegetables_:
1. 100g potato, diced
2. 100g carrot, peeled and grated
3. 100g green peas
3. _Spices_:
1. 3-4 chopped green chilies
2. 1 sliced onion
3. 1 tablespoon ginger garlic paste
4. 1 cup oil
5. 1 cup chicken stock
6. Salt, to taste
7. 1 teaspoon black pepper powder
8. 1 tablespoon daniya powder
9. 1 teaspoon zeera
10. 1 black cardamom
11. 4-5 whole black peppercorns
12. 2 tablespoons biryani masala

Instructions
1. _Sauté onion and spices_: Heat oil; sauté sliced onion. Add ginger garlic paste, green chilies, and spices. Mix well.
2. _Add vegetables and chicken stock_: Add diced potato, grated carrot, and green peas. Pour in chicken stock; bring to a boil.
3. _Add rice and cook_: Add cooked basmati rice; mix gently. Cook for 10-15 minutes or until the rice is tender.
4. _Serve_: Serve hot with chutney, raita, and salad.
