I can't believe how good tech has become that we now have a $55 device that can emulate SMB64. Just as impressed today as I was back in '99 with playing SMB64 in UltraHLE and my Voodoo 1 card.

The DS only had a dpad so that was just how you had to play Super Mario 64 DS, was alright.
Dpad and analog stick both work on drastic on RP3+ and I find myself using the dpad anyway

3D open-world games unofficially ported to handhelds without and analog stick, amaze me.

Very cool. I'd really like to see slightly stronger chips and higher resolution screens in these handhelds. I love the form factor, but as they are now, they just can't make the most out of shaders. This is particularly important for something like ps1 games, which are otherwise a great fit for this device.

I got the RG35xx last week and installed Garlic OS which makes it much better.
However, I wish that it was taller. With my big hands, it feels somewhat awkward to hold. I have concluded that handhelds, especially vertical ones, are hard to control accurately. I think that a horizontal portable game system would work much better.

I like my RG35xx better than my RP3+. I just like tinkering with my Retroid. I actually play my 35xx

The RG280V also has Mario 64 ported. I think that if you really wanted to play N64, just get one of the RG353 series consoles. Iāve got the 353VS and ordered an RG353PS. The former is running N64 well and its marginally larger than the 35XX. This whole thing always makes me wonder what benefit playing full-sized consoles games on handhelds would bring.
