Yes. I remember getting like 2 mcdoubles, 2 jr chickens, and 2 bacon cheese burgers for less than $10. That was awesome. The good old days!

Have to agree, the McDouble was fine when it was $1.39 and that's all it's worth now anyways. It's slapped together and most of the time is embarrassingly bad for a joint that supposedly makes burgers.
You used to be able to get two McDoubles, a small fries and $1 drink for about $6. Now it costs just under $10.
When I pay full price at $2.79 it makes me feel ripped off. It's even worse if you add a strip or two of bacon for a change, and you add another $1.50 ea for one friggin strip of bacon.
Highway robbery.
So much for the cheap menu. The Junior Chicken is also not worth the $2.79 they now sell for.

WTH??? They were ALWAYS on the under $2 menu!!! What happened??? I rarely go to McD's anymore.
NOTE: after working in the kitchen, AND seeing how they run things... NOT by the rules, especially for the heating of food and sticking by the food regulations... I have learned EXACTLY when and what to order.

Man don't be talkin. The misses is literally drove listening to me reminisce about the old value menu. 2 Jr chickens and small coke, hand em a 5 and used to get change back. Prices of stuff is gone nuts now.. Not just fast food either.
