A lot of people on his Tiktok told him! He saw it and plans on getting it checked. Hopefully he's okay.

One of the reasons the internet is maybe not so evil. I love seeing people getting information that could be lifesaving.

I had a friend who recently died from this disease. It's definitely something that needs treatment before it's too late.

My mom (retired nurse) discovered mine while putting lotion on my legs after major back surgery since I couldn't bend all the way down yet. I was in recovery, and she was the FIRST to say, "My daughter needs an ultrasound." At first, the hospital refused, but only after she threatened to sue did they push forward with the procedure. Found out that I had a blood clot, and I wound up being in the hospital for an extra week and on coumadin/Warfarin for 6 extra months after discharge. I could've died, but she fought for me! Thanks, Mom, for advocating for me during one of my toughest times of recovery: YOU SAVED MY LIFE! ❤❤❤

The doctor's introduction about hoping this message finds you well, had me locked in. Thanks for the bedside manner, via video.

P.A.D hurts badly. I've had to have stents placed in both legs. For anyone who thinks you may have this my one bit of advice, walk. Walk as often as you can. Okay, two bits of advice... don't smoke.

Thank you! I’ve mentioned the hair loss on my legs (plus nerve pain in my left leg) to several doctors in the past couple years, yet none of them seemed the least bit concerned. I’m not surprised though since it took me years of hopping from doctor to doctor to finally get a diagnosis for an autoimmune disorder I’ve suspected I’ve had all along. Seeking competent medical care can be such a frustrating and expensive process!

I knew it! My mom had APD. It started we suspect from smoking and then her taking hormones for many years. She nearly lost her legs but she quit smoking. She ended up having many surgeries because the grafts that they put in her groin areas kept occluding. It was very scary as I was a teenager when it started. Then she ended up getting incisional hernias from where they had gone in through her belly. I swear that woman had a dozen surgeries, maybe more. Well after making it through all that she then got kidney cancer several years ago. She survived that as well. My mom was very strong and she worked til she was well into her 70’s. But then she started showing signs of dementia. She passed away about 3 years ago. Sadly I never got to say goodbye. So take care of your bodies people! And take care of your loved ones!❤😢

My Grandma had shinny legs. She had no circulation, and she started getting sores on her legs because the blood was trying to push to circulate. I will never forget the cries of pain she let out. After her passing in 2018, I can still hear her. I know she's in a better place, dancing on her healed legs. 😢💔RIP Grand

My Mom had this and she ended up having one massive heart attack and passed away. It was the first time she had ever had a heart attack. She was on life support for a week and never woke up.

My dad was a lumber jack and he had a tree fall on his leg, didn't break but his knee bent on the wrong direction. He's had that odd shiny skin on that skin ever since and wears compression socks to combat fluid build up. I'll share this with him!

Just came across this doctor and I must say his patients are very lucky to be in his care. His animation, tone of voice, concern to the point of being passionate about a patient he hasn’t met.

Omgosh, that explains some of my podiatrist’s comments, I’m recently diagnosed with diabetes and he was telling me that the hair on my feet was a great sign of blood flow and was able to take my pulse in my feet to show me. Incredible stuff. Glad to know this.
