Should take a look at some of my videos, I too went down the 3d printed cmc rabbit hole π
Eventually got it to the point I cans mill metals reliably with jusy a 500 watt spindle. Pretty confident you'll be able to get your machine beefed up even without the manufacturer of aluminum parts.
Although I also had to add a few manufactured aluminum parts to my build as well to finally get the tool head assembly stiff enough to be reliable.
My videos are older, but I just finished some new updates that make it better
