In this video THEChancell0r1 was shooting the Ruger LCP .380 with a mag extension and it would jam due to the fallower being to tight in the mag body. And the stock mag spring now has to be longer. So it didn't have enough tension to push the fallower to the top leaving the last round limp in the mag. and causing jams and fallures to feed. We took the mag apart and with my Leatherman Surge I filed the fallower down so it was looser in the mag body. That seemed to work... watch the next video to find out what happened after that. Thank you for watching. Please leave comments as long as they're cunstructive. More videos to come. Please subscribe to my channel to get all my new videos.

@MrAk47master And the follower was getting stuck in the mag body. Like the mag was maybe crushed a little. So we filed down the follower so it would move more freely. And when the mag was put back together it seemed fine. But i guess because of the bullet wieght it still didn't want to push the rounds upward with enough force to properly seat a round. I'm glad these videos helped you out. If your looking for a nice conceal carry pistol you might consider the bersa thunder .380cc

I just saw an LCP and loved it for its size and concealed carry capability. Your video just convinced me to pass on it.

@metalfaust19 I don't like them either. I've seen them jam way to many times. And shooting that LCP hurts you hand sometimes. I have a Bersa Thunder .380 concealed carrt as my "small" pistol. I like it a lot. It has never jammed. I even took it out the day I got it and put 3 mags threw it as fast as I could to test reliability out of the box. It passed no problem. I even taped it. Maybe I'll post it some day if people want to see it. Thanks for the comment. Thanks for watching.

@enjoythewildUSA Yea, in my opinion the LCPs are not very good. They shoot real accurate. But are to small and lite for the .380 round. When shooting them they really hurt your hand. And They seem to not want to chamber a round very easily. Half the time you try to chamber the first round it either doesn't (i.e. jams) or seats the round in 2 movements. It was jamming this time because my buddy Q put a +2 mag ext. on the factory mag. Not enough tention.

@enjoythewildUSA I'll be making a video on that pistol soon. It's what I carry as a back up. It's real concealable. Thank you for watcing. Thank you for your comment. More to come.

I got one for my girlfriend and we have the EXACT same problems. I have to clean it before and after shooting it. And running 95g Federal Hydra-Shocks through it work ALOT better then any fmj rounds. It cost more but in my experience thats the only thing that works.

To clarify, I am the shooter in this video, and I can personally attest to the quality of this gun. True, the gun is shown jamming many times in this video, but what you don't realize is that I was using an extended mag with a bad follower, and the bullets weren't feeding correctly, thus making the gun jam. I have previously shot many hundreds of rounds consecutively through this very gun with no jams.

@redwodd69 Those LCPs jam all the time. Aftermarket mag or not. We noticed it jamming and failure to seat a bunch before he even got that mag.

@MrAk47master I'm looking forward to your video and I'll subscribe to you so I don't miss it. Thanks for the comment. I have to say that just working the action and dry firing my friend's LCP, I began to wonder about its reliability and functionality. It is small and concealable but who cares about that if at the moment of truth the sucker is going to jam on you and get you killed. If you are going to use a small caliber weapon, you need reliable quick shots so that you can strike the head.

Kinda wierd to me. I have the LCP and its never failed me at all and ive shot it a lot. I dont doubt the video but i think the world of mine. To me the LCP is a great working gun.

It is affordable, ultra-pocketable, light, very accurate(see mrAK47Master's LCP far shot vid) and decently made. Please don't let this one video sway you from purchasing this fine pocket pistol. That said, I still wouldn't recommend you carry ONLY this gun; the Ruger LCP makes a fine secondary/backup gun. I personally carry a Walther P99 AS 9mm(what I and many other shooters consider to be one of the greatest handguns ever made)as my EDC in a Crossbreed Super-Tuck Concealled Holster.

You have to shoot 200 rounds of FMJ not JHP to make the gun reliable or do a fluff job on the ramp. These guns are very small and tight. This is the suggestion from Ruger and Keltec.
