Because of the belief I have in how stable and safe my Hobie Lynx kayak from Strictly Sail & Kayak is, I now fish in conditions I previously thought impossible while in my sit-in paddle kayak. I can hold myself in place with the Hobie Mirage drive pedals on my Lynx or stand up and drift with the wind and waves while casting. Because the Lynx is shaped somewhat like a surfboard, in my mind that is why it is so stable in the waves, it just rides right over them or through them with no problems (as long as everything on the deck of the kayak is leashed or tethered so they don't go overboard!). Always be safe and use common sense, but having a boat that you trust so completely and feel so safe and comfortable on makes a huge difference!
