Just started skating again, yesterday, after 15 years (in my 30’s now) and glad you posted this tip. I felt myself pushing the board out in front of myself instead pushing into the board on transition. I love this channel.

At my age and with my limited amount of time, I know I’m not going to be able to learn but so many tricks. This is one that I really want to

He's a great teacher and this is the first time I have to disagree with him. I remember that I only learned them after I realized that it can be seen as a bs180 shuv, same with big flips as a bs180 varial flip. Made it easier to visualize what's happening from my perspective.

It's always helped me to think of it as a 3 shuv with a body variel instead of a 180. Keep your back foot almost in a tre flip spot but backed off a bit, and pre turn your body a bit before you pop. That's how I've always done them

I have never heard anyone put this together so simple and clear. I still won't attempt this but thanks😅....

a tip for these too, if you look at your front foot while you spin and windup slow think of your board moving the same speed that your shoulders are then it makes it easier

Fakie Nollie bigspin into manual used to be my top trick .

Easy. Nailed it on my first attempt.

When I make a big spin, I prepare my body for bs 180 and feet for shoveit, catch in the board mid-turn and tighten 180 (in the air).

This thing not working with bs flip. You do varial kickflip with 180 motion?

I really appreciate your work and you are a great teacher. I just want to convey that the trick can be done in different ways :) Thanks for your work

I've only ever done this trick clean one time-- I've even done it off something, but for the life of me I have such a hard time not stepping off heelside on the roll away 🤦🏾‍

I’ve never had anyone explain it to me this clearly, I’ve always been so confused about big spins lol

Definitely recommend getting fakie(with decent pop) first. Much easier.
