Khaled Ibn ElWalid 3 - How Khaled Changes the battle against Meccah's army
Khalid ibn al-Walid did not fight a battle against Mecca. Instead, he played a crucial role in the Conquest of Mecca in 630 AD (8 AH), which was a peaceful takeover rather than a traditional battle.
Conquest of Mecca (630 AD):
Background:
The Conquest of Mecca marked a significant turning point in Islamic history. After years of conflict between the Muslim community in Medina and the Quraysh tribe in Mecca, a treaty known as the Treaty of Hudaybiyyah was signed in 628 AD. However, the treaty was violated by the Quraysh, leading to the decision to take Mecca.
Khalid ibn al-Walid's Role:
Khalid ibn al-Walid was one of the key commanders during the Conquest of Mecca. He led a wing of the Muslim army as they entered the city. The operation was designed to avoid bloodshed, and most of the city surrendered peacefully.
Despite this, a small skirmish occurred in which Khalid’s forces were involved, but overall, the conquest was remarkably peaceful.
Outcome:
The peaceful surrender of Mecca allowed the city to become a central hub for Islam. The Kaaba, the sacred shrine in Mecca, was cleared of idols, and Mecca became the spiritual center of Islam.
Khalid ibn al-Walid's involvement in the Conquest of Mecca solidified his reputation as a skilled and strategic military leader, contributing to the spread of Islam throughout the Arabian Peninsula.

actually there is a important fact missing.
Before the fighting starts Prophet Muhammed sas notices the weak spot from where they can be attacked so he places archers on the top of the hill.
He orders them not to move no matter what. Even if you see us winning dont move until second order.
When it seemd like the pagan army retreated and they where fleeing the muslims started to collect the war spoil, so now the archers on the hill see this and get excited and start running towards the battel field. This is when Khalid ibn Walid saw his opportunity and attacked. end of story
