I adore Rachel, always have. She's was more an ally than some might feel a Candace Owens or Stephen A Smith or Malika Andrews or Jason Whitlock. She's kinfolk without being skin folk. Rachel isn't perfect but she's done more to uplift and educate Black minds than most in ny very own Black community, that's not an opinion, that's a fact. She's promoted Blackness and Black history and Black power for her entire professional career, she deserves to be celebrated for some things and listened to about the other things we don't understand about her.

We are adjusting and accepting more and more folks feeling uncomfortable in their own skin, unhappy with the way they were born and we are accepting that, how is this any different, why is she different? Why do we accept one thing but destroy the other? All the Rachel stuff that happened, her family outing her, all these media outlets broadcasting her and making a joke of her and how she exists in her mind in this world... I'm surprised she persevered and didn't decide to end the pain and humiliation... her strength alone is commendable.

They martyred her, they... We crucified her for being unhappy with who she was and her description at birth but we're accepting people removing body parts or taking hormones or changing gender. I saw a dude with a beard on Instagram pregnant... Hugging his feminine looking wife who was dressed very feminine but she was born assigned male information and I'm not mad at them, find your happiness within you.

I don't think Rachel deserved what she got from us. Not saying it's right or wrong but she showed and proved to her peers enough to get promoted to a head of an NAACP chapter, she put in the work and excelled in Black history and knowledge, she did the work. If Chapelle show was still on he would have traded one of these 🤡 for her. We lost an ally but she's still loving up on her Black babies and her black husband without a hiccup but folks rather Don Lemon & Harris Faulkner... I hate it here 🤦🏾
