I'm not sure if it would help you but I always laid my seat back more to give me more room to maneuver my chair once inside because it can suck trying to get it past the steering wheel sometimes

That dead lift looks really hard. Geeze. Ive seen other wheelchair users doing an exercise with a weighted ball. Definitely think a few well placed strength moves could really benefit you.

It really helps to recline your cars back far and if it has power slides also helps to slide the seat back as far as it can go. Gives you much more room between the steering wheel and your you.

I have a family member who has a roof hoist on their car. The chair folds instead of disassembles. You'll need to be aware of your shoulders wearing out as you get older, maybe get a lower car too.

I absolutely love your energy! if you find that long term it still sucks too bad, I think a quick release steering wheel might give you a few extra inches of room, and it’ll keep your steering wheel from getting scuffed up. As an added plus you can take your steering wheel with you which I always think looks funny lol

As an Engineer I think there should be a more easy (and affordable) solution.
Like hook up the chair on the back of the car and have a some kind of aid to get to the driver seat.

I'm in a wheelchair for 12 years ...only if you knew all the stuff I been through you be surprised how I'm i still alive ...praise God In the name of Jesus and you will over come all the obstacles that get in your way ...I got shot at the age of 20 I'm 32 now and the wheelchair as being the biggest blessing I ever had
