That’s fairly common on them. I’m not sure why. We kept new sway bar/bushing/link kits on the shelf and usually moved 2 or 3 a month for a few years.

I have had a broken sway bar on my 95 deville for 2 years daily driving it that way lol only noticeable difference is if you change lanes at highway speed it wobbles a bit

Your cv axle is torn. When it is torn it causes it to sling grease, when its slung all the grease it usually wears out and starts to cause a vibration. If the other side of the sway bar is still connected, you will not notice anything. However if ot isnt it will cause a noticible clunk especially when going over bumps.

Exceedingly common on those cars. They made the sway bar hollow. The ends are pinched flat and it's a weak point. It's so common that aftermarket replacement sway bars are readily available. However, it won't make the car shake on acceleration. More likely a bad CV joint.

You have to drop the sub frame to replace that make sure you rent a engine cradle and keep an extra 500 handy for whatever else you find qrong while taking it apart

Check the whole front suspension, replace parts necessary and get a new sway bar and bushings.

Vibration under acceleration is probably cv axle, motor mounts usually vibrate at idle but once loaded under torque they'll hold in position. Sway bars just cheap porous metal, they break all the time.

Dorman makes a kit to replace the bar, bushings, and links. It's 100 to 200 dollars depending where you buy it.

You need to keep that disconnected. It will give you more travel when crawling over the big rocks. 😂

The factory sway bars on those and many other cars from gm around early 2000s were hollow, they sell solid upgrades for them. I had same car, previous owner welded it together. I replaced it and links

The sway bar isn’t gonna cause the vibration unless your wheel hopping from doing burn outs. That axle might be. I know you said it’s just oil. But that looks like grease on the inner joint. Also replaced a few for a vibration on acceleration.

Just replace it with a new one or go to a junkyard and get one just unbolt the sway bar bushings and the sway bar bolts or nuts from the lower control arm to remove and reverse to assemble
