Genuinely dont understand why they didnt just go the GHM route and "create" a way to end the song that doesnt involve the fade out. As much as i had my complaints about some of the "created endings" of guitar heros in the past, just not having one at all is arguably the worst way to do it.

I think that's the entire point of the song. The person eventually commits permanent self harm (can't say it otherwise comment gets deleted). The solo is like a rollercoaster of emotions and cuts at the very end... as if his life just ended. I like this version
