May be.. Only if you had missed shooting your video at high FPS!
It may work well sometimes.. But in cases like like this, where the action is fast shot at 24FPS, frame interpolation i.e. slowing down your video and selecting OPTICAL FLOW, may backfire like this.
So to avoid such issues, plan your shots well in advance and shoot at high frame rates if you are gonna slow down the footage!
