I’ve been volunteering at APAA Recovery since 2017. I started in the PAC Team where we are responsible for creating different ways to welcome more people into recovery, facilitating community projects and outreach, communicating with the board regarding what the Recovery Coaches may need, servicing the community by feeding the homeless and so much more.

Over the last several years I faced challenges finding restaurants and businesses that would donate food regularly to APAA to help feed the Peers and the community that come in celebration of recovery!

I’m happy to announce Raj with Kalachandji’s, an Indian vegetarian restaurant one of my favorites will now be delivering and donating food regularly at APAA. This is the first restaurant that will be doing so since 2017. I am very excited about this blessing for APAA.

This is one of my favorite restaurants and one day that I was there I inquired about this very thing and now it has manifested. The Most High is working in my favor💯😍.

I am also excited to introduce the homeless, the peers in recovery, and the community to diversity and health when it comes to food. Beyond red meat, pork, beef, chicken, fried food, processed sugars and canned food I want them to explore plant-based options to help them live longer through what they eat!
