The deluxo has faster acceleration while hovering but switching to driving mode after acceleration provides a higher top speed

The deluxo is actually slower in a straight line while in hover mode, being limited to 80 mph, which makes it the slowest flying vehicle in the game, it only won the first test because it accelerates to 80 nearly instantly while it probably didnโt even reach 80 by the time it hit the wall in the normal drive mode
TLDR: the deluxo's hover mode can be used for insane off the line acceleration, if you want a higher top speed you'll have to put the wheels down again.
