It is true Jesus said "it is finished" but after that Jesus cried out with a loud voice and said "Father, into your hands I commend my spirit." after that he expired and behold the curtain of the temple was torn from top to bottom, the earth shook, and the rocks were split.

Wrong!!! The words of Our Lord when He said, “ It is finished!” Referred to the Passover being complete. His salvific work was not complete until the resurrection and ascension into heaven. Most people don’t know this, because they are 21st century English speakers, not 1st century Jews. The Passover consisted of drinking 4 cups; the cup of Santification, the cup of Deliverance, the cup of Redemption and the cup of Praise. Jesus and His Apostles drank the first 3 cups at the Last Supper. After the 3rd they leave the upper room to go to the garden where Jesus asks the Father to take this cup from Him, but He also prayed the Father’s will to be done. And finally Jesus drank the 4th cup on the Cross, when they brought the Hyssop branch dipped in vinegar wine and myrrh to His lips. And then exclaims, “ It is finished! “ because He is the Paschal Sacrifice.
