thanks. my iphone really got hot when it stayed like that for 2 whole fcking hours. imma disable it since i don't use camera that much. idc. but i do really wish it would automatically close when it's not in used for too long just the samsung ones.

Just turn off raise to wake in the display settings and tap to wake in accessibility, they stop your phone from turning on without you touching it.

it disabled the camera completely so not a solution..apple really needs to give us the option to disable it in next ios update cuz its annoying when u activate either and it drains the battery especially during the day with the flashlight

It will disable camera app fully. Even third party camera app will not work then. So, it is better to give app time limit for camera 1 minute. So lock screen camera will ask for screen time passcode and cannot be access it. But it will not disable third party camera apps

Don’t do this… took me so long to figure out why the camera function wasn’t working on any other apps. It restricts the camera function on EVERYTHING

My galaxy is the same way, except for the fact that not only can I remoce it, i can choose whatever app i want in place of it
