I would like to add this was not active labor. The contractions were not unbearable nor were they super close together. This was in the very beginning before my water broke (which provides some cushion) so it’s not like I was in a lot of pain. 😘
What was your labor like? Did you labor for days like me or did it progress fast for you?? Did you labor at home or did you go straight to the hospital?

I labored alone in the early morning then when active labor was on the horizon I woke up my husband and we had the baby shortly after the midwife showed up. My daughter slept through it all. It was a 5hr labor start to finish and was amazing.

My cousin has 3 under 3. Her eldest is 2 and the twins are 1. It’s crazy in the house lol so much screaming all at once, all the time. Last night they all swarmed her to cuddle on the couch for a movie. So although it’s overwhelming, she is insanely loved. 🥰

My one and a half old was asleep during active labor thank God! But I went on a long walk with him right before and then he wanted to climb on/cuddle me before his bath while I was having a few contractions. Praying that you and baby 6 are healthy and healing well. ❤

Oh girl ! Huge respect for you. I remember I was so done at 36 weeks when I was pregnent with my baby. Thankfully she got delivered in 38th week.

lol I thought you were gonna be cooking dinner or playing outside. Nice to still be on the ball :). I only have 2 but when I was laboring with my 2nd it was such a nice labor I was able to just lay on the couch while my daughter would run up and be like “tired, mama?” If any kids saw my first labor they’d be scared 😂

I did a few hours at home before going to the hospital. Except with my fourth (he's about to turn a year old in a few weeks). With him I only labored for about an hour at home before calling the hospital to tell them we were coming, we were just gonna wait for my dad to arrive to watch the other kids. However, a few minutes after calling the hospital, baby boy was born into the toilet on my first "real" contraction (where I felt like I had to push) - I had just sat down on the toilet because I thought I had to go number two... 😂 While in bed with baby on my chest, umblicial cord still attached and two of the other kids in bed with me marvelling at the screaming baby, I had to text my dad "there are two ambulances in the driveway but don't panic, we're all fine, see you soon". It was a surreal night to say the least

Who has been there?? 😂 I was about to give birth to my 6th kid here, so laboring with little kids around me isn’t my first rodeo 😝
