The fact that he even knows how to do that is very Texas.

"To protect and Serve" yes I think that applies to livestock....Especially in Texas. β€πŸ˜‚

Just when you think you've seen every version of "cops at work" on YouTube. Really appreciate that officers "get er done" spirit!!

"Yo dude where are we?"

"I don't know."

"..... Wait. There's an officer lassoing a runaway cow on the highway. We're in Texas."

One thing the cop didnt think of. If he manages to lasso it, he'll be going on a ride he didnt ask for, or will ever forget!πŸ˜‚

In Iowa, the cows get loose, but the law enforcement isn't lassoing the cows. They are calling for backup. It was fun to watch.

Very true. I lived in west Texas for many years. We had a loose cow wander through our neighborhood, and a young police officer was sent to round him up. πŸ˜‚

This happened in MN this past summer. The cow looked so happy and pleased with itself for tipping a trailer in the highway. It then got a treat from the center median of grass as tall as its shoulder. Such a happy cow.

For real! Late one night I was driving from Houston to college station. On a dark highway a cow bigger than my car was standing in the middle of the road.

It’s the slow walking for the round up that’s killing me

THAT!!! explains why there was a traffic jam near my house. I wondered what the heck was going on.

Loose cow(s) were like 5th on my list.

I had a loose cow in my backyard once. Nobody came to get her and she eventually figured out how to walk down the steps and back into the pasture. Apparently going uphill is much easier than going downhill for cows.
