That was sweet; that was a complete (or near) 180 turn! Is anyone else amazed at how it rotated like that and landed almost flat on the bottom?

God I love high speed cameras!!!!!!!!!

Beautiful. I love the arc it traces midair.

Why does this only have 4 stars? Were people hoping to see an actual mouse killed?

@listerstorm239 It's a blowgun dart

From the point of impact, the trap was closed at 20ms (that's milliseconds). It would be even faster if there was a body there. According to Wikipedia, an eye blinks in about 350ms. So the mousetrap is 17.5 times faster than your eye blinks!! Amazing.

I love the part where the mouse trap is sprung, and filmed at one thousand frames-per-second.

yes it was an almost perfect landing... however there was a slight wobble visible upon viewing the slowmo replay...

For scientific study test this again, preferably with a motion sensor activation for nocturnal vermin abatement.

very cool, unfortunately the IMC (international mice council) knows about this technology and they have widespread the information about this traps with he advent of the internet. Library mice were the only ones that knew about them.
