I found 3 sets of 15 for these 3 exercises using a weight that makes the last 3 reps feel like failure works the best for me, I do this at the end of every workout.
Finger curl: you hold a barbell and let it roll into your finger tips then only using your fingers you squeeze as hard as possible until your hand is closed. do it slow and controlled.
Standing supinated barbell wrist curl: you hold the barbell with your palms facing away from you then you act as if you are bending the barbell towards your face using your wrist.
Standing Reverse wrist curl: you hold the barbell with the back of your hands facing away from you and use your wrist to bend the barbell away from you.
Although I'm not very vascular it gave me forearms that have lines going through them and size but most importantly it gave me immense grip strength you'll never need straps.
