Not just Europeans but also white Americans as well. I’ve read a few older books on the subject. It’s not a popular fact or something the teach in schools. The fact is slavery taught in schools here begins with fucked and ends with Africans. But it’s an injustice to all those who were stolen, traded and sold exact same as their African counterparts. Anyone who was caught committing a crime, ran afoul of a powerful person or families, owed money, or just happened to be unlucky were stolen and brought to Africa. Because there was a high premium on white slaves in Africa it was big money. People need to do research instead of just following what they believe is the truth.
