Monster Hunter Wilds is an action role-playing game and the sixth entry of the main Monster Hunter series developed and published by Capcom. The player takes control of a Hunter, journeying to a new part of the world known as the Forbidden Lands in what Capcom describes as the most immersive story in the series. The game's largest change to the formula is introducing an expansive and living world, with both the areas themselves and the monsters within them feeling and behaving more lifelike than ever. The game will release on February 28, 2025 on Playstation 5, Xbox Series X, and Microsoft Windows simultaneously, and is the first entry in the series to allow crossplay between all major current-gen platforms.

Monster hunter is such a friendly and devoted comunity this is the last game to be judgemental and youll probably still do fine if you suck because its usually one monster hunt at a time and theyre repeatable so you can farm shit

Yeah, some of my best moments in Darktide were when I was getting better. Sure I remember some solo clutches, but, getting good is a process and a journey you should cherish.

Picking up a new game or a game you haven't played in awhile, and having to learn everything again has been a key moment for every person. I don't understand people bashing someone for sucking at a game, like dude, you probably sucked at this game at some point too, instead of being mean why not just give some helpful tips rather than putting someone down.

Dude slowly learning and becoming good at a game is the best part sometimes. Which is why games like Breath of the wild, Grounded, Minecraft, etc. Are some of my favorites, it starts off not knowing what to do, making mistakes, dying alot and eventually as you progress you become better and better till you master the game, and look back at your 1st steps and see how far youve gone.

Honestly, everyone is bad at any mh game, especially if its their first. As lomg as you have fun you are good! There is no objective 'wrong' way to plqy the gamr anyway

Good example is elden ring it was my first time playing a Souls game and Elden ring was so fun but I still struggle to parry at times but even then I improved. I also never did the gimmick arcane build😂

The Wilds beta was my first time experiencing Monster Hunter. In the beginning, I was hot dookie butter. By my 30th hour, I considered myself to be halfway proficient at the bow and longsword and was still learning and having fun with the insect glaive (but I was still ass with the glaive). But that's what I loved about the game. 30 hours in and I was still mastering the combat, and that says nothing about how much time I will spend tinkering with all of the other systems in the game. I could easily see myself sinking 1000 hours into Wilds in 2025.

Man i remember the first time i ever played monster hunter was on the Wii and thinking great Jaggi was a threat. The struggle was immersive, getting that cool new weapon and armor you crafted with the monster you just killed was insane and i didnt look at the stats

Im almost 100% certain the only people that treat learners like shit are people that either cheatwd or were carried by higher level players. It took me a good few years to get as good as i am in World and im trash at Rise.

One of my best gaming memories... being stuck on a boss that i had to hit 3 red buttons... there was one hidden behind smoke very slightly....i had already beat like 100 games by then( ps1/2 days)

The only time it's okay to call someone terrible is when a terrible player starts acting like they know the game better than everyone else and starts giving trash takes on what's wrong with the game. But if someone is just playing terribly and acknowledges they're terrible, bro, just stop watching and leave and stop yappn about skill.
