It still amazing that she didn't buckle on the curves. Being a lefty definitely helps, but the first time you ever see a curve, you're going to get messed up. She was also late on the fastballs, but not ridiculously late. She looked better than a lot of high school hitters against 90 mph

ABSOLUTELY A HOME RUN!
I mean, it IS a home run in softball, if you consider that there's always at least one outfielder who can't field the position at all but is there for speed on offense.
Then the ball will roll past her because rather than taking the diagonal, she took the right angle approach to fielding the ball, which she'll chase all the way to the fence.
She'll then make an off-target throw in while the gal is making her way around the bases (which are only 60 feet apart).
No errors will be officially recorded, so ... home run!

The only thing she could connect with was two floating off speed pitches. She was about a mile late on everything else.

She hit the curves cause she was so late on the fastball that she was on time on the curveballs. Should of just kept going heater inside, she never would of even touched it. “She’s on time” as she’s finishing her swing when the balls already in the glove
