We use these after fire damage. They are much larger industrial units. I assure you that they do work very well. The smell after an oil fueled fire will produce a very putrid smell that soaks into everything. After three days of use the smell will be vastly reduced. You have to be careful however. They will cause anything metalic to flash rust.

Just be clear negative ion generator that are used at homes are not powerfully enough to produce ozone. The misconception comes from the negative ion generators that are very powerful have the potential to create ozone. However in order to achieve this it needs a catalyst like extreme heat, cold, pressure etc. However it’s not possible to achieve that with the at home ones. For it to create ozone(o3) it needs high concentration of oxygen above 50 percent for a unit like at home ones to produce ozone.

The air purifier which you are showing in the video has the option to turn off negative ions feature. Also, there are studies which shows that a certain level of ozone emission is not harmful, typically less than 0.05 ppm. So, in this case, we need to know how much ozone emission this purifier will make when negative ions feature is ON.

Doesn’t ozone break down quickly?

My air purifier has a hepa filter, then a carbon filter, and an ionising feature that only runs for 30 minutes (then it turns off automatically), I always found if I turn it on while dusting and I swear it made it WAY easier to dust, there was no dust flying up in my face triggering my allergies
It all stuck together and was so much better
Typically when I dust, the dust flies EVERYWHERE

You cite no opposing research and you offer no counterpoints to consider for further reading or education- Just an advertisement for why they are bad overall... interesting. One sided- but its your channel- c'est la vie!
