I once live in Oakland. I was once robbed at an ATM. I called the police and I said we do not send an officer out for that. You need to go to the station to file a report. Am I went to the Oakland PD they were closed.
I also had car jacking and call the police. They said they'll be there within 24 hours.

My brother got jumped in oakland. He was filling up a rental car to drop it off bc he was gonna get picked up to go to a beach town a few hours away. As soon as he got in the car, he got jumped by three people. They tried taking his backpack and hit him on his head, but he managed to keep his stuff. The security guard there didnt do anything. The cops didnt do nothing either. The janitor there said that a week earlier woman got curb stomped by the same group of people. Such a lawless city dude, needs a clean up.
