There's something existentially comforting about having grown up with TJ and having him stay the same fun dude throughout, though admittedly very strange to step back and see him go from looking like a middling photocopier-repairman during the whiteboard era to his current wizard status.

I feel really sad for Vaush sometimes. A lot of the online left intentionally dismiss him for petty reasons. He instinctively thought it was someone burning a bridge with him. He's a cool ass dude and hope he knows that we appreciate him taking the principled road even if it's inconvenient sometimes.

When I was a teenager, I used to always listen to DPP and AA videos whenever I was playing games on my crappy laptop. Now, years later I mostly listen to Vaush whenever I'm playing games on my crappy pc.

It is crazy how getting off the reactionary train manages to make everyone become so much more likeable. Hunter and TJ come off so much happier and cooler ever since they switched gears. Meanwhile people like Dave Rubin who used to be a half-way decent person during his time on the Young Turks comes off as a soulless worm with no joy left. (I know Dave Rubin was never that great but I can't think of any other previously left leaning individuals who became reactionaries.)
