i follow SEVERAL people on insta who had this scenario: lost A LOT of weight (100lbs +) and then immediately got skin removal - all of them had tummy tucks. Each one of these ladies gained weight back- a significant amount. I notice their bodies look so different (not in a good way). The areas they had skin removal stays smaller but they gain weight in other areas so like for 4 of them most of their weight gain is in thier upper body so their tummies look like the "After" picture here but they have excess fat on their arms, in their chest/neck, face, and more side boob/back fat etc. It looks more masculine- like men who have a broad chest and tight pot belly instead of the slimmer upper body with soft overhang belly that women typically have and it just looks odd- moreso than before they lost the weight and even after with the loose skin. Anyway I'm seeing a trend with more plus size women getting cosmetic surgery to spot treat areas and I think women should be warned about this. If you do not have a history of having a stable weight and you're fluctuating 20, 30, 50+ pounds every other year then I don't think you're a good candidate for plastic surgery to spot treat areas of fat on your body. I doubt these surgeons are being upfront about weight gain afterwards particularly for bigger clients.
