I was on an R/C forum where I was talking about the fact that the stock pinion from the BBX kit doesn't fit on a standard 540 can motor as you have to place the pinion onto the motor shaft in the opposite direction of most kits. The motor shaft is too short on a stock 540 motor, torque tuned or sport tuned. So...to fix that issue you either need to buy a different 18 tooth 48 pitch pinion to fit on a stock 540 motor OR you can upgrade to a GT Tuned Motor or similar tuned motor where the motor shaft is much longer than a stock motor.

Right now this GT Tuned Motor is going on my MF-01X car for the ‪@poorboysrc‬ speed run challenge but after the challenge I will more than likely be putting this motor into my BBX.
