I swear I understand it better than my jungler who comes mid when Yone has Q3 ready and surprisingly it fails.

Mid jungle main, spending time to trying to get prio when objectif up, to see my jungler running toplane on drake timing, and die/fail, so i don't really agree on low elo, its too much chaotic 😂

Meanwhile I'm playing mid like:
"Mate why are you here. Go away! Go help bot or top, because you're not helpfull here! Go do a bot to top clear 5x for all I care."
They show up, and do nothing. The opponent is always just a few steps away from tower in mid. If anything, they mess things up. They pull the wave appart, so I can't clear it with an ability like I sometimes want to. The opponent gets scared and starts backing, while I could have ulted them in 15 seconds and gotten the kill. Only when it's a matchup I strugle with, do I point it out in chat. I'm still not going to die needlessly. If anything I just lose some CS.
Point is, I don't expect any help. Jist do your own thing and get strong. Do whatever you need to do. If you ping your intention for drag or grubs early enough, I'll try to get priority to help.

Thanks for the perspective Curtis. Just like laners, junglers also have the job to farm. Imagine if the jungler asked you (the mid laner) to sack a whole wave to help them in the jungle. It is the same thing when you ask the jungler for a gank which leads to nothing and your jungler gets behind in farming.

And conversely, junglers don't understand midlane. They'll constantly pick fights in river that mid can't rotate to, or worse they'll start a neutral objective when their mid is on a base timer and completely throw the whole game. Comparatively, jungle showing mid for 5 seconds and blowing enemy summs is not even in the same category of mistake. Also, showing midlane is not nearly as revealing as showing in a sidelane.

I would argue midlaners understand this the most though, baiting the enemy jungler to your lane and fake hovering is possible in mid the best compared to other roles.
