It's wild to me that a lot of people try to "disprove" other people's disabilities

Even limbs without function can "move" (or better be moved) underwater. As long as no spasms are keeping the legs tense the movement from the upper body, arms, water etc. is enough, to make legs move.
Always these dull people being out for a gotcha-moment...

It's great to see people sharing their experiences with others. You're doing a great service spreading awareness and knowledge about it. Thank you for sharing what it's like to be you!

disabilities are very fluid and individual. it's rarely just 2 options or polar opposites

You seem super sweet in how you explain things to people that don't really understand. I'm glad you gently explain things.

Should see peoples faces when I stand to put my chair in my car 😂 they think I MUST be faking not that they are probably just misinformed about disability lo

Even dead bodies can move their limbs sometimes, though it's a bit morbid.

Also not to mention, a custom manual wheelchair (like the one she has) costs $10,000 at the least! No one on the history of the earth would go through a whole year of a process, buy a $10,000 chair, just to fake it all😐

The explosion at the end caught me off guard😂

It's pretty crazy that people would think anyone is this committed to "faking" anything.

Like sure, it had happened before, but it is so incredibly rare, even in the small percent of the population that could be considered influencers, that it's just a bad faith argument to suggest it.

USING A WHEELCHAIR DOESN'T MEAN YOU CAN'T USE YOUR LEGS!

Disability is a SPECTRUM, it's fluctuent, and unique for everyone.

Sometimes I use a wheelchair.
The rest of the time I can walk, even run on my best days.
Sometimes i can climb stairs.
Other times I need to use the elevator.

I'm pretty sure I could do without my wheelchair, but I would be in PAIN for fucking days.

"as you can see, i'm paralyzed." actually cannot see that.

as an ambulatory wheelchair user, only thing i see is a wheelchair user. 🙂

Also, some wheelchair users can still walk or move their legs, just not for long enough periods of time (due to pain, fatigue, etc) to be safe for them to walk around everywhere.
