College radio station had so much acoustic stuff that didnāt work, we wound up ādecoratingā the public hallway with it, since thatās all it was good for. So many people thought it looked more professional, š (of course the private hallway was covered in layers of band posters). We had a weird space with round walls, the recording studio was half of a D shape. Acoustic carpet, foam everywhere else and a window that looked like it was designed to keep the astronauts alive on the space station. It wasnāt completely dead, but it was in the sweet spot of acoustic deadness

Ditch the Aurelex and use something that does broadband absorption. Auralex is for high frequencies only. Try mixing something with a lot of low end and check how it translates. Youāll find you still have a lot of work to do.
