It was ridiculously easy to beat the lie detector, when I was the guinea pig in a college class.
The teacher had a guy come in, who used to do them for the FBI, back when a lie detector still held weight with a majority of law enforcement and the general public.
First round he told me to be truthful, so he could establish the base line, then he said to try to deceive him, after several silly questions.
I then asked him if we could start over, after I went through the set of questions with which I was supposed to lie during. He agreed, and I had nearly the same results for both tests, only I said the opposite for every question. So, after he asked me to be truthful, I lied every question, then when he said to try to fool him, I never lied.
His results were ridiculous, and he asked if I did some type of martial arts, where I learned to control my pulse. 😆
He looked at me, like I was a Sociopath or something, because he had asked if I had ever committed a crime, which I lied about the first time, but then I was truthful when he threw it in the second round, which were nearly all new questions.
His results showed me being truthful, except for when I purposely lied about some dumb things, like my eye color, my height, whether my mother was alive and a few others.
I had been told by a Vietnam Veteran, who had worked with Detectives, that the lie detector was bunk from the first one built, and were especially stupid to use, when someone has gone through anything traumatic, or anything that would increase or decrease adrenaline

If you listen to the whole interview, she also says that if there was a way to reproduce without men, she would send them to another planet. And that men would "love it". When the detector detects "lie" in rhis clip, it might very well be true in her head, except for a small list of men in her life.
She clearly has some history of of trauma and/or abuse and has disproportionate feelings about men. She herself talks about her past trauma sometimes. She built defense mechanisms but still is very biased, understandably. But therefore I wouldnt take her persepective as a guide.
