I can't remember which tech talk I saw where a guy from the audience just took over because he was more knowledgeable. I doubt the talker ever recovered from it haha

I think you'd agree that it's also important to keep in mind that having the impostor syndrome can also just be the plain truth sometimes. Don't just try to fit your situation under the big umbrella of "impostor syndrome", just accept that you're sometimes not the most knowledgeable person in the room, and just strive for that one day
