I started becoming allergic to my fragrances about 10 years ago. I figured out that one of the things that I'm sensitive to is oakmoss, and there is also a woody accord that I react to as well but haven't figured out what it is yet. Being allergic to fragrances when you're a fragrance lover is awful.

I ALWAYS develop allergies on my chest and front of my neck with any perfume. Bare in mind alcohol is bad for the skin...well, some type of them aren't but the ones that fragrances contain yes. The skin on these areas is super sensitive and that's why I always spray on my arms (not the upper part) and back of my neck, where sometimes my skin burns. Dermatologists advice not applying fragrances on these areas for a reason 😖 chest area and neck are a no-no. Even if your skin tolerates it doesn't mean it's safe nor benefitial. It's like using facial products with denat alcohol or scented ingredients, there are people who don't develop allergies but it's in no way good for the skin... also when you apply sunscreen, if you put perfume on top of it it will destroy the protection the SPF has. Damn summer 🤖 at least in the colder weather I don't apply SPF on my arms because they are covered... living in Spain the struggle is rea

Oh no!! Not a favorite! 😢
I suffer from severe allergies and intolerances.
Alas, I do experience reactions to one of my favorite houses: Miller Harris.
I still wear them, but I have to be full medicated.

Sorry to hear this, Sarah. Try Nuxe reve de miel fragrant body water. It smells like Bee, but the formula is way more gentler. I personally try to steer away from spraying perfume on my skin especially as we’re going through a heatwave here in the UK. I prefer to spray on clothes and hair at the moment with body mists, or opt for a perfume oil instead.

If you spray perfume and immediately go in the sun, this can happen, it's called Phytophotodermatitis.
