Backstory:
Before, Rex's wings were tearing their way through his back, and he passed out from the pain.
Rex slowly blinked open his eyes, and rolled onto his back. He winced as his wings were crushed with his body weight. He sat up, and rubbed his eyes. Wings flapped and tugged, they batted his head, and Rex went flying as they swung him in the air. The wings tugged different ways, and Rex struggled to keep them from splitting him i half. "STOP" Rex called, thinking a command might work, but of course, it didn't.
He was thrown to the ground by yet again the big feathery creatures attached to his back. (They have a mind if their own for sure) Rex thought. Instead of trying to train his wings, he stood up, and fought as he walked across the grass patch in the woods. Rex must look hilarious trying to fight off his own wings.
He walked as much as he could, and searched for some vines. When he found one, he wrapped it around his body, underneath his arms, but over his wings. Of course they were not happy about being tied up, so they indeed tried their best to knock Rex over.
Rex finally got the vines tied around, and they began to relax, exactly what Rex wanted. But why did these wings pick Rex to be their new body? Why did Rex pass out? And for how long?
There were so many questions, but no answers. Rex was already in enough of a fight against his questionable sanity.
He decided to rest, on his belly though, there was no way he was going to lay on his aching wings.
There was a small pond close to Rex, and he sniffed the soft air, as he fell into the world if dreams.

"Thank you father! I'm so excited! Do you think I'm ready?"
"Of course you are my son, this is a big step in life you know, ever since you were a kit we have trained for this moment. I'm proud of you son"

The sound of his father's soft voice echoed in his dreams, as it turned to nightmares.



|| "Where's Red Dead at?!" They all called
"Maybe he's just a little late?"
"NO HE MUST BE HERE AT ONCE"
"SEARCH THE TOWN....Starting with our old leader's house!"||


Rex's father's voice faded, and was followed with his screams. Rex's mother screamed as she was clawed to death. His little brother protecting the rest of their little siblings. Rex's father put up a fight, trying to protect his wife. But it all ended in screams and blood spattered.


Rex awoke suddenly as a soft pelt brushed up against his trembling chest.....
